Extend the power of Sketch to multiple Macs

If you wish to use Sketch on multiple devices, or share your license with co-workers, you need to add seats to your license. Enter your license below to add seats.

Your Sketch license explained

Here’s what you need to know about your Sketch license, based on the questions we get asked the most. If you don’t find your question answered below, feel free to contact us.

How much does a seat cost?

The price of a seat depends on the quantity of seats you are adding, and the time remaining on your license. To get a quote, please enter your license key in the field above, and select the number of seats you wish to add. You can review your final price based on your requirements before you proceed to purchase.

How long does my license/seats last for?

Your license is valid for a year from the date you purchase it. For example, if you purchase your license on 1st January 2017, you’ll get regular updates to Sketch up to 1st January 2018. To receive updates after that date, you’ll need to renew your license.

Seats are tied to your license, and will enable you to receive updates to Sketch until the license they belong to expires.

Can I install Sketch on multiple computers?

When you purchase Sketch, your license entitles you to use Sketch on one computer only. If you have multiple Macs, or people using Sketch, you can either purchase a volume license at a discount, or add more seats to an existing license key.

If you’ve bought a new Mac and want to use Sketch, you’ll need to unregister Sketch from your old machine first. To do this, choose Sketch › Unregister Sketch… in the menu and confirm the alert that appears.

Can I manage the devices registered to my license(s)?

You can check your invoice and active devices, unlink devices, add seats to your license, and more via our License Manager.
